About eminent people of Bankul

Shri Angju Mog Choudhury was first elected into Tripura Legislative Assembly in 1967. Later he again got re-elected in 1983 and 1988. His name is associated with Bankul like a trademark. In his heydays, his words were final in dispute resolutions and he was revered as a tall leader.
